Solar System Missions update 2023-01

Here's my map of all active and planned Solar System Missions as of January 1st 2023.

The Artemis 1 has returned to Earth, but many of the cubesats that were launched with it are continuing and contibute to the high number of 15 missions launched last year. If all the missions planned for this year actually launch, there will be 10 new missions: 7 to the Moon, the ESA Juice mission to Jupiter, NASAs Psyche to the eponymous Asteroid, and the Indian Aditya L1 solar observatory.

The Mars lander InSight has ceased communication and is now finished. At the Moon the Korean Danuri mission has arrived in orbit, and the Hakuto-R1 lander along with NASAs Lunar Flashlight orbiter are on their way to the Moon, arriving early this year.

Data, images and documentation are available on my space exploration history GitHub repository and the associated website.
