Another 2016 update for the Space Observatories page, with the launch of two missions in one day, the European CNES equivalence principle probe MicroSCOPE and the Russian Roscosmos high energy and cosmic observatory Lomonosov. Sadly, the JAXA X-ray observatory Hitomi is now defunct, thanks to a glitch in it's attitude control system.
