Exploration History Version 1.2.5

OK, I think I got Rosetta's orbits all figured out now. Also, I finally bit the bullet and added striping and some emphasis to the event logs of the Solar System Exploration History.

Space Observatories Update 08/2014 part II

The new spectral range overview graphic left room in the lower part of the main graphic of the Space Observatories page. Therefore I've put the spectral range vs. angular resolution graph in there. It's probably still a bit cluttered in the central part. I'm working on that one. Future scopes are in light grey, ground scopes in dark grey.

Space Observatories Update 08/2014

I have completely overhauled the Space Observatories page. The overview of spectral ranges for all the telescopes - in orbit, planned and some ground-based - is much extended and therefore is a graphic on its own now, spiffied up with images and separate ranges for different instruments. There are still lots of instruments for which I have insufficient data, so more updates are still to come.

Exploration History Version 1.2.4

With Rosetta approaching comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko and sending back great images it is time for a new version of the Solar System Exploration History interactive graphic. Also with many data updates, corrections and improvements.
