Exploration History Version 1.1.5

Minor update to version 1.1.5, with many background optimizations, better icon scaling for small sub-probes. Also, I've included the planned Chinese asteroid mission in 2017, despite the relative lack of data, along with the presumably targeted NEAs Tukmit, Apophis and 1996 FG3. The icon is just Chang'e 2, as a placeholder.

Dear Chinese space program, I'm really amazed at your recently demonstrated openness with the start of the Chang'e 3 mission and I think I not only speak for myself but for all space aficionados everywhere to wish you the best luck in continuing on this path for your whole space exploration program! #nudgenudge

Space Observatories Update 02/2014

No new missions launches, but plenty of new planned missions like the Exoplanet hunter PLATO, Chinese observatories for space weather and dark matter, and the JEM-EUSO ISS payload on my Space Observatories page.

安息,玉兔

[Edit: The reports of Yutu's death have been greatly exaggerated: China Daily 2014/02/13. Sorry about that.] Rest in peace, Jade Rabbit. Bad news for Solar System Exploration History.
Now, should I count it as a complete or partial success?

The Whole History of Solar System Exploration in One Image

The static version of my interactive Solar System Exploration History page. Now also with spacecraft icons and a bit of explanation. OK, so the scaling and positioning still needs work, but this is what I've got so far.

Exploration History Version 1.1.2

And here is version 1.1.2, with wider lines and finally event icons that are, umm, somewhat better, I hope.
